Two Philadelphia, PA Stoneware Jars, third quarter 19th century, both of similar cylindrical form, one decorated with three open-center cobalt tulips, the other with cobalt swag decoration. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Larger jar with bloated spots to surface, primarily to underside, as well as a tight surface line to underside. Smaller jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of larger jar) 10 1/8".
