Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, possibly Beaver, PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated with a brushed floral motif over slip-washed clay. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Reverse impressed with a cobalt-highlighted three-gallon capacity mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
