Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Flowering Urn Motif, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and wax sealer interior, the front decorated with intricate stenciled design of an open-handled urn brimming with flowers. Shallow chipping to inner wax sealer rim. Two small, in-the-firing chips to underside at edge. H 6 7/8".
