Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, Norwalk, CT origin, circa 1840, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with looping and wavy lines. Provenance: Collected in the Long Island, NY area. A 2 1/2 line from rim, culminating in a 3/4" flake to interior. Two other small glaze flakes to interior. Nicks to rim. L 11 5/8".
