Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with three large cobalt leaves around the body. A 1 1/4" in-the-firing chip to base. Small rim chips. A short crack from rim.
