Redware Plate with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Stamped "W. SMITH / WOMELSDORF", PA origin, circa 1880, featuring alternating wavy lines of cream and brown slip, flanked by two brown-slip spots. Impressed on underside "W. SMITH / WOMELSDORF". Very nice condition. A faint 3" U-shaped line from rim on reverse, a small section of which is visible on the interior. A faint, approximately 1" line from rim. Two small rim chips and minor rim wear. Soot residue to reverse. Diameter 7 3/4".
