Three One-Gallon Stoneware Jugs with Bird Decorations, New York State and Vermont origin, circa 1855-1875, all of cylindrical form, one stamped "J. & E. NORTON / BENNINGTON VT.", the other two stamped "WHITE'S UTICA". Norton jug with broken and restored handle, a 3" flake to underside, light staining to surface, and a tiny spout nick. One White's Utica jug with spots of dark residue to surface. Other White's Utica jug with staining, a small glazed-over base flake, tiny base chips, and some fry to cobalt.
