Two One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1875, both of similar ovoid form, one featuring the maker's stenciling "A.P. DONAGHHO, / PARKERSBURG, W.VA.", the other decorated with brushed leaves around the shoulder, Baltimore, MD origin. Donaghho jar with a small base chip and some minor staining. Baltimore jar with a shallow chip to underside at edge, a minor chip to exterior of rim, a minor glazed-over chip to interior of rim, and some minor traces of red paint to surface.
