Two-Gallon Paterson, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jug, New York State origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "James Bell / 105 Market st. / Paterson". Bubbled, over-salted area at base. Some over-salting to right side of front. Some staining. Three tiny nicks to top of spout and a short surface line to top of spout.
