One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Nathan Clark, Jr., Athens, NY, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and semi-squared rim molding, featuring a brushed design of a circular flower emanating from a leafy stem. Very nice condition with only minor flaws. Light wear to handle. Typical light wear to inner rim where a lid would rest. A 1 3/4" in-the-firing separation to underside, not visible on interior. A tiny nick to spout and two tiny rim nicks. Some light staining to surface.
