Two Glazed Redware Articles, American, second half 19th century, a large shaving mug with ribbed strap handle, and small tankard pitcher with light manganese daubs under a lead-glazed surface. Mug with crack on underside, extending onto base, as well as small rim and base chips. Pitcher with minor chip to underside at edge, as well as wear to rim and handle. H (of shaving mug) 4 3/4".
