Slip-Decorated Redware Loaf Dish, possibly New Jersey origin, second quarter 19th century, of oval form with coggled edge, the interior decorated with straight and wavy trails of yellow-orange slip. Provenance: Given to the consignor by a New Jersey resident. Chips and wear to rim. Scratches to glaze on interior. Wear to underside. L 16 3/8".
