Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Perth, Amboy N.J. Advertising, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, cylindrical jug with Bristol-slip-glazed surface, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "S. Spitzer. / Perth Amboy. / N.J.". Desirable small size. A glazed-over base chip. A nick with short spider line at shoulder, after the first "S" in "S. Spitzer". Two short, tight lines to shoulder on right side of jug. Some chipping to spout and two very short surface lines to spout. A very short, minor crack to surface crack at base on reverse, visible when the jug is turned over. Some minor chipping to bottom edge, all possibly in-the-firing.
