Large-Sized Stoneware Memory Jar, probably Indiana origin, 19th century or 20th centuries, approximately five-gallon ovoid jar with rounded lug handles, the surface covered with numerous applied, primarily ceramic, sherds. Applied decoration includes pieces of 19th century English transferwares of various colors, flow blue, late 19th century china, some small amounts of glass, a section of a jar's lid, and two ceramic heads. Provenance: Found decades ago in Indiana. H 16 5/8".
