One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock with Lid, Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA origin, second half 19th century, a pail-shaped crock with applied handle, decorated with a flowering plant and clover blossoms on the front, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, paired with swag-decorated lid, probably Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865. Crock with crazing and thin cracks throughout, a handle chip, and a rim chip. Two large filled chips to edge of lid, small chips to knob, and some tiny nicks to flange on underside.
