Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Baltimore, MD Advertising, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with tooled spout and applied handle, decorated with the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising "J.C. WHEELER / GROCERIES & LIQUORS / 159 FOREST STREET / BALTIMORE". A tight 4 3/4" vertical line to front. Two minor, in-the-firing iron pings at base.
