Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, tapered flowerpot with rounded rim and attached saucer, the surface covered in a whitish slip and decorated with sponged reddish-brown manganese under a clear lead glaze. Two tiny nicks to saucer. Typical residue from use on interior of rim, base of pot, and interior of saucer. Some small scratches to surface. H 4 7/8".
