Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Floral Decoration, Stamped "HARRINGTON & BURGER / ROCHESTER", New York State origin, circa 1852-1854, ovoid jug with thick tapered spout and applied handle, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flowering plant with leaves and three buds. Slip-trailed "2." above. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Two innocuous shallow chips to top of spout and 1" horizontal Y-shaped line in spout.
