Unusual Cold-Painted Stoneware Vase with Applied Floral Decoration, Incised 1887 Date on Underside, probably Ohio, 1887, ovoid-bodied vase with tall, flaring collar, featuring an applied rose design over a coleslaw-covered body. Cold-painted surface in green, red, mustard, and gold. Yellow-glazed interior. Losses to applied rose decoration. H 8 3/4".
