Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of three leaves, the center leaf inscribed "2". Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Some small flakes to base. Some staining. One handle with a short horizontal line and nick. Typical wear to inner rim for lid.
