Glazed Redware Figure of a Lion, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1850-1880, hand-modeled figure of a standing lion with heavily-incised mane, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Professional restoration to most of both rear legs and smooth section of one front leg. Light wear to surface. L 4" ; H 3 3/4".
