Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Northeastern U.S. origin, second quarter 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with an unusual design of slip-trailed stripes interspersed with star-shaped splotches. Additional incised wavy line accents through slip-trailed line decoration. Exfoliation to interior. A rim chip. A few very minor chips to exterior of rim. Diameter 10".
