Sponge-Decorated Redware Plate, Pennsylvania origin, second half 19th century, with coggled edge, featuring oval manganese sponged designs below the rim and a single manganese oval at the center. Wear and shallow chipping along most of rim. Glazed surface survives in excellent condition. Diameter 7 5/8".
