Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Unusual Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with an unusual design of a wavy stem with open leaves, culminating in a three-petaled blossom. Additional stylized design with spots in front of blossom. Minor base chips. 2" hairline from rim. Two small rim chips.
