Rare Glazed Pottery Washboard, Signed "WESTERN RESERVE POTTERY CO. / WARREN, OHIO," late 19th or early 20th century, washboard with molded basket-weave pattern, decorated with streaks of brown over a light-orange clay ground. Original wooden frame stamped black-colored inscription "The Common Sense Wash Board / RUB LIGHTLY. / It Will Do the Work With Less Rubbing than any Other Board Made. / MANUFACTURED BY / THE WESTERN RESERVE POTTERY CO. / WARREN, OHIO". Excellent condition with typical light wear to frame. L (including wooden frame) 13 1/4" ; W (including frame) 7".
