Two Unusual New York State Stoneware Spouted Vessels, second half 19th century, an Albany-slip-glazed tankard pitcher, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y."; paired with an ice water pitcher with molded, floral-decorated spout, stamped "C. HART & SON," Sherburne, NY origin. New York Stoneware Company pitcher with rim chips, a spout chip, two small spout nicks, and minor base chips. Hart pitcher recolored wear to rim and molded design at base of spout, as well as a colored crack and chip to handle, and two long thin cracks on front. H (of New York Stoneware Company pitcher) 9 3/4".
