One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Troy, NY origin, circa 1825, squat-shaped ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated on one side with a a stylized flower blossom extending from a leafy stem, and on the reverse with a brushed "X". Additional cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Several rim chips and several small base chips. Light staining to base area.
