One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITE'S UTICA," New York State origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a fan-tailed bird atop a stylized branch. Three long cracks from rim on reverse. Shorter crack from rim on front. Some staining. Rim chip. 1 1/2" area of clay residue to side of crock.
