Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a bold brushed and slip-trailed design of a drooping "orchid" plant. Excellent color. An 8" vertical line to left of decoration. A few areas of fry to heavier-applied areas of cobalt.
