Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, tapered flowerpot with attached saucer and coggled embellishments, the surface decorated with splashes green and brown over a cream-colored slip ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Large area of restoration to rim of pot and saucer. Four hairlines from rim, measuring approximately 3" each. Additional wear to rim. A shallow 1" flake to interior of saucer rim and other minor saucer wear. Two minor glaze flakes to flowerpot. H 8 1/4".
