Molded Stoneware Pitcher with Relief Eagle Motif, attributed to the American Pottery Manufacturing Company, Jersey City, New Jersey, circa 1840, hexagonal pitcher with spurred handle, featuring six raised eagle designs around the body and four around the collar. Surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. 5" J-shaped crack from rim. Crack in base of handle. 2 1/3" hairline from rim with a 2 1/2" restored rim flake, mostly visible on exterior. An additional approximately 1 1/4" restored section to rim. H 10 1/2".
