Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Profuse Cobalt Floral Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and squared rim, decorated with a large two-stemmed flowering plant design on the front and reverse. Additional swag decoration extending around the shoulder. Sealed top-to-bottom crack, which continues onto underside where it forms a Y.
