Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Southeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, ovoid jar with flattened rim and applied tab handles, the surface covered in a dark, greenish-colored alkaline glaze. Small rim chips and a 1 3/4" in-the-firing separation in underside, not visible on interior.
