Two White Family, Utica, NY Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Floral Decoration, second half 19th century, a six-gallon jar with pierced handles and large slip-trailed floral design, stamped "WHITES UTICA"; paired with a two-gallon jar with pierced handles and brushed and slip-trailed floral design, stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, NY". Six-gallon jar with some fry to cobalt, chipping to base, and some traces of old red paint to surface. Two-gallon jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
