One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Beaver, PA origin, circa 1865, ovoid jug with tall spout, decorated with a large brushed tulip above two freehand slashes. Reverse with large cobalt circle around lower handle terminal. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with dryness to cobalt and a short surface line by upper handle terminal.
