Rare Rockingham Pitcher with Mask Spout and Serpent Handle, Stamped "E. & W. BENNETT / CANTON AVENUE / BALTIMORE, Md.," mid 19th century, molded pitcher with footed base and spout in the form of a bearded man's face, the handle in the form of a serpent with heavily-scaled body. Surface covered in a visually-appealing streaky brown glaze over a cream-colored ground. Impressed with Bennett maker's mark on underside. Professional restoration to spout. Minor professional restorations to spots along two short, sealed lines from rim. Professional restoration to a small base chip. H 8 1/8".
