Two Pennsylvania Stoneware Jars, circa second half 19th century, a one-gallon jar with undulating cobalt leaf design around the shoulder, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875; paired with a two-gallon jar with cobalt swag and hanging flower decoration, Southeastern Pennsylvania origin. One-gallon jar with several small rim chips and a 3 1/2" hairline from rim. Two-gallon jar with a 5 1/2" long vertical contact mark with pieces of adhered clay on side of jar, a minor salt drip and two minor contact marks to shoulder, and a 2" rim chip.
