Two New York State Stoneware Jugs with Cobalt Bird Decorations, circa 1875, a three-gallon jug with design of a striped bird perched on a vine, stamped "W. ROBERTS / BINGHAMTON NY"; paired with five-gallon jug with large design of a long-tailed bird perched on a flowering vine, stamped "WHITES UTICA. N.Y.". Three-gallon jug with large base chip, smaller base chip, two spout chips, and staining to surface. Five-gallon jug with some fry to cobalt, staining to surface, a small spout chip, and a minor glazed-over spout chip.
