Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES UTICA. NY," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flowering plant with circular blossoms and a drooping flower resembling an orchid. Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Some fry to orchid. Tiny flake at base of decoration. A small rim chip and a few very minor rim nicks. Some staining.
