Rare Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, probably Pennsylvania origin, Dated 1908, featuring the large date "1908" in yellow slip. An unusually-late date for American utilitarian redware. Thin 2 1/4" crack from rim. Small chips and wear to rim. Some surface wear to interior and a few flakes to slip. Diameter 8 3/4".
