Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder, decorated with three large brushed cobalt stripes and cobalt around the base of spout. 1 1/2" dry contact mark to side of jug. Small flake on interior of spout. In-the-firing 7/8" chip to base on reverse. Minor chip to base. 1" flake to base on reverse. H 9 3/4".
