Southern Stoneware Pitcher with Dipped Albany Slip Glaze, probably Tennessee origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid, salt-glazed pitcher with tall, flaring collar and incised wavy line decoration, the top half of the pitcher dipped in a dark brown Albany slip. Provenance: Found in Eastern Tennessee. Significant restoration to rim and spout. H 10 1/4".
