Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American, third quarter 19th century, a two-gallon crock with brushed and slip-trailed tulip decoration, stamped "GEDDES," New York State origin; paired with a one-and-a-half-gallon, bowl-shaped jar with brushed double-tulip decoration, PA or New York State origin. Geddes crock with fry to cobalt and a shallow 1" handle chip. Unmarked jar with tiny rim chip on reverse, including a faint 4 1/2" line from rim on reverse, as well as some dryness to cobalt.
