Three Pieces of Strasburg, VA Stoneware, second half 19th century, a two-gallon cylindrical jar with cobalt dash decoration, stamped "S.H. SONNER / STRASBURG VA" and incised with an "X" on shoulder; paired with two kiln furniture jug stackers. Jar in excellent condition with a few minor rim chips, some water glass staining to surface, a few old paint drips to surface, and white residue on interior. Jug stackers in very good condition, both with a 1 1/4" glazed-over chip. L (of larger jug stacker) 5".
