Five-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1885, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout and ribbed strap handles, decorated on the top half with various freehand designs, including vining, stripes, and the number "5" flanked by dashes. Bottom half decorated with Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling and small stenciled floral designs. Crazing to area of base on side of jug. Two chips to one handle. Roughness and a tiny chip to top of spout. Some fry to cobalt.
