Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn atop a stylized lawn flanked by shrubs. Restored 8" crack from rim on front, touching tip of shrub on right. 3 1/2" hairline from rim on reverse connecting to a restored rim chip.
