Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Midwestern origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large brushed tulip flanked by a leaf and the number "3". Excellent color. Approximately 4 1/2" X-shaped surface line on far right side of crock's front, not visible on interior. Tiny stone ping to rim. Two minor stacker marks to top of rim.
