Two New Jersey Stoneware Crocks, second half 19th century, a two-gallon cylindrical crock with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "MULLEN & CONNOLLY / MANUFACTURERS / NEW-BRUNSWICK, NJ"; paired with a two-gallon cylindrical crock with similar floral design, stamped "A.J. BUTTLER / MANUFACTURER / NEW-BRUNSWICK, NJ". Mullen & Connolly crock with three small chips on interior of rim, a tight, faint line on underside, and a few other minor, in-the-firing flaws. Buttler crock with long crack at base extending partway up reverse of jar and onto underside, a 2" hairline from rim, a few minor rim chips, and a faint ink inscription, "M. Ave," below rim.
