Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug, Stamped "SAMUEL STOUT," South River, NJ, circa 1835, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, impressed with Samuel Stout maker's mark with inverted "L" in Samuel. Very nice condition with small, shallow base chips, a small iron ping at base, and minor wear to midsection.
