Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jars, Western PA origin, circa 1875, all of similar ovoid form with rounded rims, two decorated with three brushed cobalt stripes, and one decorated with two cobalt stripes and an inverted cobalt swag. Swag-decorated jar with some hairlines, a shallow rim chip, and some fry to left edge of decoration. One stripe-decorated jar with rim chips. Other stripe-decorated jar in excellent condition. H (of each) approx. 6 1/8".
